FAVE BEAUTY PRODUCTS GIVING YOU LIFE DURING LOCKDOWN?
I have absolutely no self care routine at all. I don’t even moisturise :/ but I absolutely adore Evolve body scrub and oil. You apply the scrub dry and then rinse off in the shower. It makes your skin baby soft.
WHAT 3 THINGS MAKE ISOLATION MORE BEARABLE?
1. I live for food. Isolation has given me the chance to actually cook things from all the recipe books I have! My fave at the minute is Rebel recipes by Niki Webster.
2. Without sounding really pretentious; art! Having beautiful things to look at certainly makes being in the same space all day more bearable. My favourite is a massive bright nude on the landing. It cost me a fortune and it’s worth every penny. Everyday I walk past it it brings me pure joy!
3. Finally, once a week I’ve been having one of those really indulgent unnecessarily long showers that my mum would’ve lost her head over when I was a teenager!
WHAT DO YOU MISS MOST ABOUT LIFE BEFORE LOCKDOWN?
Walking. I love being busy and me and the babes walk everywhere and are rarely in the house, always out running errands and such like. No amount of exercise vids can replace just being out and about and active all day.
IS THERE ANYTHING THAT YOU'RE DOING DURING ISOLATION THAT YOU DIDN'T DO BEFORE?
Wearing the same outfit for days! Saving a lot of water not washing clothes. Makes me slightly less guilty about those showers!
FAVOURITE LOCKDOWN TUNE?
I get quite fixated on songs and play them again and again. At the minute I’m obsessed with Florence and the Machine - Shake it out. It’s so epic and absolutely the good vibes we all need right now!
WHAT'S THE FIRST THING YOU'LL DO AFTER LOCKDOWN?
Go and visit friends we’ve not seen in ages (even before we weren’t allowed to) and drink wine with them OUTSIDE!
